From the creation of these United States\, when common men and women from all walks of life bore their personally owned arms to defend against injustices from the best trained and most feared military the world had ever seen – their own British regulars… through the reputation that has permeated every generation since\, best described by Japanese Admiral Yamamoto who explained during WW2\, “You cannot invade the mainland United States. There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.” … to the modern Rifleman’s steadfast relevance today in continuing to defend our Constitution from all enemies. \nIf the AR15\, AK47\, or similar magazine-fed\, semi-automatic rifle platform is a part of your defense plans for home\, community\, or Liberty\, then please join us to learn how it best applies to the self defense of the civilian! This unique and proven course builds quickly to advanced skills that will sharpen and improve even the seasoned rifle operator\, yet is truly designed to help anchor correct technique with a blank canvas. A new carbine owner would be well served and off to a safe and sound start. No prerequisites are required. \nTactical Rifle Standards is created with the average civilian rifle owner in mind. While this is primarily a manipulations class\, we will present the most efficient techniques possible in order for you to journey towards meeting our challenging Standards in regards to measured Time and Accuracy measurements. Each student will leave with data to see where they currently are… with specific goals on how to progress. \nThroughout the day\, we will extensively cover: \n\n\nFirearm Safety\nMarksmanship Fundamentals\nSupported and Unsupported Field Positions\nHow to discover and quickly and consistently find one’s Natural Point of Aim (NPOA)\nClear understanding of Minute of Angle (MOA) and how to easily use it in the field\nReady Positions\nRecoil Control\nTrigger Management\nVarious Reloading Techniques\nMalfunction Diagnosis and Clearing\nAnd much more!\n\n\nAll skills are reinforced and measured with drills that will challenge and improve you! \nREQUIRED ITEMS – and some suggestions that will help you get the most out of your class:\n\n\nNotebook and writing utensils! Please take notes!\nReliable mag-fed\, semi-auto rifle – your experience will be best with an AR15 or AK47 style platform – properly cleaned and lubricated – a spare firearm may be a wise choice in the event of a major failure.\nIron sights or optic\, with tools to adjust as needed.\nRifle Sling – we strongly recommend a 2 point sling for this class. One excellent example is the Vickers VCAS sling.\nSpare Rifle Magazines – minimum 3\, more is better\nRifle Magazine Carrier – belt pouch and/or chest rig\, plate carrier\, etc. – I run both and explain why in class.\nShooting mat\, blanket\, etc for prone shooting (optional)\n400 rounds carbine ammo\nEye and Ear protection\nBilled hat\, Shirt with a high collar or tight neck\, and appropriate clothing for shooting outdoors despite the weather\nPLENTY of water\, Gatorade\, etc\, hand sanitizer\, snacks\, sunscreen\, and any other comfort items you may need
