DESCRIPTION:Shotgun Drills and Skills is a fast-paced\, one-day program designed for shooters already proficient with the shotgun who wish to test their skills. Rather than teaching fundamentals\, this course immerses participants in a curated lineup of drills\, standards\, and qualifications drawn from across the shotgun world—ranging from unique industry-developed tests to benchmark quals used by top agencies. \nStudents will run a wide variety of timed\, scored\, and performance-driven exercises that challenge accuracy\, recoil management\, manipulations\, and problem-solving under pressure. The goal is simple: give you a fun\, demanding day on the range that shows exactly where your skills stand—and where to go next. \nPrerequisites: ALL attendees are expected to have a solid level of proficiency with their defensive shotgun and at minimum have completed Gunset Shotgun Essentials. This will be a faster paced course designed to measure your skillset across the expected standards of the leading shotgun instructors in the community. Real World Trauma will cover a wide range of topics including tourniquet selection\, bleeding control techniques\, airway and respiratory injuries\, trauma kit components\, CPR\, vehicle characteristics\, seat-belt cutting and vehicle glass breaking and many more. All training modules include specific hands-on skills exercises designed to tailor professional techniques to a civilian “everyday” context. \nIn Real World Trauma\, we drive home the understanding that EVERYONE can develop these skills to positively impact the outcome of emergencies and traumatic injury. We bridge the gap from the teachings of the EMS and “tactical” worlds to something more applicable to the everyday citizen.

There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.” … to the modern Rifleman’s steadfast relevance today in continuing to defend our Constitution from all enemies. \nIf the AR15\, AK47\, or similar magazine-fed\, semi-automatic rifle platform is a part of your defense plans for home\, community\, or Liberty\, then please join us to learn how it best applies to the self defense of the civilian! This unique and proven course builds quickly to advanced skills that will sharpen and improve even the seasoned rifle operator\, yet is truly designed to help anchor correct technique with a blank canvas. Please take notes!\nReliable mag-fed\, semi-auto rifle – your experience will be best with an AR15 or AK47 style platform – properly cleaned and lubricated – a spare firearm may be a wise choice in the event of a major failure.\nIron sights or optic\, with tools to adjust as needed.\nRifle Sling – we strongly recommend a 2 point sling for this class.
